UNITED STATES IN THE TORAH CODE
To find the United States, the trick is to use transliterations rather than the standard translation.
For 14 years of Torah Codes research, I was frustrated by the simple fact that the standard 10-letter Hebrew translatation for the United States (alef resh tsadeh vav tav hey bet resh yud tav) does not exist at an ELS in the Code. Indeed, it rarely has any name more than 9 letters. But surely the United States should be an exception. Finally, on August 22, 2011, I realized that there might be transliterations that might exist. Sure enough, I found 13 transliterations in a quick search. They are shown below for future reference. The list is not necessarily complete. In addition to the transliterations shown below, a slighty modified spelling of the standard translation exists at skips -67,892 and -123,032. This spelling leaves out the vowel letter vav (the 4th letter of the standard spelling). Thus it is spelled (alef resh tsadeh tav hey bet resh yud tav).
