ECONOMIC CONSEQUENCES OF NASA'S GOLDEN ASTEROID SHOT
Long term investment in gold is not a good idea. This page was posted on 6/28/2019.
NASA is scheduled to launch a mission to visit Asteroid Psyche 16 in 2022. If it succeeds it will arrive in 2026. Some news services are reporting that if it’s brought back to Earth it has enough gold and other precious metals to make everyone on Earth a billionaire. That’s false because it would make gold so common that its value would crash.
THE STATISTICAL AND ECONOMIC SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MATRIX.
On the matrix above the axis term at ELS rank 27 is a transliteration of ASTEROID that uses a tav rather than a tet for the letter T, and a sin rather than a samech for the letter S. The asteroid named Psyche is not only loaded gold, but also heaps of platinum, iron and nickel. In total, it's estimated that Psyche's various metals are worth a gargantuan $10,000 quadrillion. That means if we carried it back to Earth, it would destroy commodity prices and cause the world's economy – worth $75.5 trillion – to collapse. Silver can also be found on asteroids. On the matrix SILVER/MONEY touches asteroid with GOLD and IRON on the same line in the open text. Odds against finding these terms were as follows: IRON 37.4 to 1, SILVER/MONEY 3.48 to 1, and GOLD 3.2 to 1.
NASA claims that it has no plans to set up mining operations, but perhaps the crew of 16 should be members of President Trump's promised Space Force which should set up defenses on the asteroid. A secret mining operation could make Russia, China, or a criminal outfit quite rich, but it would also risk the world's economy if the word got out. The matrix does include the word MINING at one skip more than that of the axis term. Although not a special case skip, MINING was the most significant a priori term. It was found against odds of about 40.78 to 1 and it may be an indication to financial planners that it's a poor idea to tie up wealth in gold, silver or other precious metals. Even word of planning a mining operation could lead to price collapses.
The matrix also has two ways to name the asteroid, or at least its group - PSYCHE. One PSYCHE is a 5-letter word found at one skip less than the axis term. Note that Merriam-Webster defines PSYCHE as soul, personality, the totality of elements forming the mind. The second PSYCHE is the 3-letter word most often used for soul. The 5-letter word was found against odds of about 6.93 to 1, and the shorter version was found against odds of about 2.68 to 1. Overall the matrix was found against odds of about 11,696 to 1.
