LIVNI-NETANYAHU PROBABILITY SPREADSHEET
How To Calculate Chances For Livni Meeting Netanyahu
When we look for the chance that a key word appears on a matrix with an axis term, normally we do not assign any mathematical significance to the axis term, especially if it is 8 or less letters. The axis term either is or is not at an ELS. If it’s there, we go on to search for the other terms. If the axis term is not there, the experiment often ends at that point, unless we search for alternate spellings of the axis term.
For the key term not in the open text we must calculate the number of ways it can fit into the matrix of X rows and Y columns - horizontally forward, backward, vertically (up or down), and diagonally (forward or backward). Use the method set out in the Appendix of my Ark Code book. Then apply the Roffman Skip Formula, do the appropriate search in the Torah to see how often the key term comes up at an ELS for the number of skips that will work in a matrix of the size in question.
If, however, it is desired to learn how likely that an open text key term like Netanyahu would appear in the matrix at ELS +1, then we only search the Torah at Skip +1 for the key term to see how often it’s there. Do not apply Skip Tables or the Roffman Skip Formula. Finally, in either case (skip +1 key term or other skip) we use a spreadsheet like that below to determine the chance of the meeting. We do not include terms noticed after the matrix was produced as we do not want wishful thinking to cloud the probability calculation process.
