ELS MAP 14 - Home of the Ark
"HOME OF THE ARK" IS THE AXIS TERM
In ELS Map 14 Home of the Ark is the axis term. Ark of the Covenant and Jerusalem both appear on the matrix. Ark of the Covenant begins 9 rows below and 27 columns left of the last letter of Jerusalem. This again equals a course of 251o.565 from Jerusalem to the Ark of the Covenant. The first letter of Home of the Ark is the first letter in the open text of In Egypt. The three betters just before Ark of the Covenant could be translated as stronghold or fortress of. All of these facts argue well for an ELS Map. But there are complications.
CodeFinder standard settings include matrix filter settings that allow the program to find the smallest matrix for key terms. These matrices are not usually synonymous with the lowest ELS of the axis term, and lowest is preferable. Here the axis term is far from minimal ELS (it ranks 67th). Normally, I reject ranks like this for Map purposes. But, whether I used a setting for closest or smallest match, when I searched for Home of the Ark, Ark of the Covenant, and Jerusalem, ELS Map 14 came up first on the CodeFinder display if I disabled the row split function to find the best matrix. With row split function is enabled, ELS Map 14 appears 2nd in the display. Despite such caveats, it's still true that with settings of closest or smallest match, any other course could have arisen 1st or 2nd. CodeFinder is not searching for the 251.565o course. It's only searching for the best match.
