On Jun 28, 2012, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Obama Care, the signature achievement of President Obama’s term in office, was not constitutional under the Commerce Department, but it was constitutional as a tax. This is how the law is encoded in Torah. The second lowest skip of B. OBAMA TAX is encoded in a small matrix of just 150 letters with HEALTH at skip +1. This word for HEALTH occurs only 3 times in Torah. The meeting is against odds of about 338 to 1. Note: I also have a matrix posted about why Justice Roberts voted to approve this law. WHY IT’S HARD TO MAKE A PREDICTION. Until an event comes to pass, we often (really, generally) don't know what key words to look for. However, when the event unfolds, then it becomes clear. In this case, the President was on record telling the American people that his health care plan was not a tax, or at least not a tax increase. Therefore, it was not apparent that tax should be part of the search. But after the Supreme Court ruled, they said it was indeed a tax, and one that Congress had the right to pass. This was a surprise to the media, who until then only saw the issue as one of the Commerce Department imposing the requirement on the American public to buy a product, health insurance, under pain of imprisonment in many cases for anyone failing to do so. Only when the Court ruled this way did I know to search for OBAMA TAX in conjunction with HEALTH at skip +1 (the open text).
Figure 1 was not the only such meeting of these terms, others are shown in the table below (with none of them very statistically significant). However, when I find many such meetings, then I toughen the search by using a longer axis term. OBAMA TAX in Hebrew is only 7 letters, and I always prefer at least 8 letters in an axis term. Better is to include a requirement for his first initial too. Thus the search term became B. OBAMA TAX. Here the second lowest ELS of the term matches up with HEALTH at skip +1 in the 150 letters matrix shown on Figure 1. That happened to be smaller (better) than any of the other matches that just relied on 7 letters for OBAMA TAX.
SEMANTICS vs. REALITY. I would ask my readers to listen to Obama on the link provided earlier and repeated here. Apparently the administration did in fact argue before the Supreme Court in favor of a health insurance tax, and that was what the Court approved. Politicians never want to ask for tax hikes, but in reality they are often required. I frankly wanted to see Obama's health care legislation defeated, but I must concede that there is an enormous need for everyone to behave responsibly by purchasing health insurance. The example given by Obama on the video in fact was played out with one of my wife's friends. For years my wife and I knew that her friend and her husband had no health insurance. For at least 15 years I asked her husband about when they were going to buy it. He had been an Air Force flight mechanic while on active duty, but his job converted over to a civilian position which he took upon discharge. It did not come with health insurance. He could have purchased it, instead he chose to buy alcoholic beverages to support his drinking problem each month. Finally a day came much like that spoken of by Obama. My wife's friend was a passenger in the car of an uninsured motorist. He totaled his car in a horrendous wreck at the intersection of Interstate highways 75 and 10. While laying unconscious, almost bleeding to death, she was airlifted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. The bill just for that (unrequested) flight was $20,000. Shands quickly tossed her out when they discovered that she had no health insurance, but not until she had run up another $20,000 in bills there. The helicopter flight bill was so high in large part just because so many people have no insurance. Obviously, the same applies to hospital care; however Obama's health care plan misses an essential part of the reality problem. It pays no attention to the obscenely high cost of drugs in America.
One study showed that the price of the same CAT Scan could vary from $95 to $6,707. Another found that a hospital charged $18.02 for a baby aspirin. Serious health care reform should start with a requirement for hospitals to charge reasonable prices for services rendered. However, the reality is that like oil companies, drug companies are major contributors to political slush funds. So long as they are allowed to buy our politicians costs will be out of control. From Consumer Watchdog you can get an idea of how much money goes from the health insurance and drug industries to politicians here:** Health insurance contributions.
