Murder of Russian Ambassador Karlov - Act of Terror or War?
This page updated on 12/27/2016
On December 19, 2016 the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Andrey Karlov, was assassinated at a photography show in Ankara, Turkey. His assassin (Mevlut Mert Altintas ) was a member of the security team there to protect him. On Figure 1 the axis term is KARLOV ASSASSINATED. Right after the shooting the assassin shouted "God is great! Do not forget Aleppo! Do not forget Syria! As long as our lands are not safe, you will not be safe!" On the matrix ALEPPO is at skip +1. RUSSIAN is at skip -1. In the open text is a warning DO NOT GO UP FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS NOT AMONG YOU LEST YOU BE SMITTEN BEFORE YOUR ENEMIES. At an ELS are SHOT, PHOTOGRAPHER and PHOTOGRAPH. Because the shooter yelled Allahu Akbar (God is great) he is largely portrayed by the press (outside of half the Arab world) as a terrorist. Yet we have just witnessed the destruction of East Aleppo, the slaughter of 312,000 to 470,000 Syrians, and the driving into exile of about 11,000,000 Syrians with destabilizing of Governments in many nations. All this was done via the Russian Government and its Air Force. So the question we will examine here is whether the assassin committed an act of terror or an act of combat in an obvious war. The answer, unclear as I begin the article, will depend on who (if anyone) Altinas shot besides the Ambassador.
Figure 1 above - Karlov assassinated. The probabiliy spreadsheet for Figure 1 is given below.
STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF FIGURE 1. As per my standard protocol, no statistical significance is assigned to the axis term, here KARLOV ASSASSINATION at its lowest skip in wrapped Torah. The primary a priori word sought on both matrices was ALEPPO was skip +1 since that is what the assassin asked to not forget first. It was found but the odds against the find were not outstanding, just about 4.57 to 1. Why? Because in Hebrew and Arabic the word for ALEPPO is only 3 letters and are synonymous with MILK. The next term sought was RUSSIAN. It was there at a special case skip (+/- 1 or the absolute skip of the axis term ([n this case -1]) against odds of about 38 to 1. However the really outstanding find was the phrase DO NOT GO UP FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS NOT AMONG YOU LEST YOU BE SMITTEN BEFORE YOUR ENEMIES. That's a really rich verse, simultaneously raising three issues: (1) God is not with the representative of a people who go against Him, (2) A warning that acting in way against the teachings of Moses (as in Thou shall not murder) can lead to the death of the actor, and (3) The death sentence will be carried out by the enemies of the actor. Of all these terms and concepts the term for SMITTEN, best summarized what I ws used against. This term is seen twice in Torah. I used its frequency to appraise the statistical verse value. Base on this the terms were found against odds of about 207 to 1. The other terms were not very significant. SHOT had a 57% chance to be found at a non-special case ELS. PHOTOGRAPHER had almost a 65% chance to be there. For PHOTOGRAPH it was up to almost 78%. Overall the matrix exists againstds oddds of about 128,826 to 1.
IS THE SHOOTER A TERRORIST OR A PATRIOT? To answer this I will ask you to look at The Hürriyet Daily News, formerly Hürriyet Daily News and Economic Review and Turkish Daily News. It is the oldest current English-language daily in Turkey, founded in 1961. Hürriyet Daily News takes a secular and liberal or center-left position on most political issues, in contrast to its two main competitors, Today's Zaman and the Daily Sabah, which are most often closely aligned with the Justice and Development Party of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Here are some highlights of what they wrote about the shooter http://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/russian-ambassador-to-turkey-karlov-shot-in-ankara.aspx?pageID=238&nID=107512&NewsCatID=341 on December 22, 2016 (with my comments in dark green bold fonts):
The Turkish Foreign Ministry … designated the attack on Karlov as a “terror attack.”
Accompanied by Health Minister Recep Akdağ and Defense Minister Fikri Işık, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu later announced that the attacker was a 22-year-old police officer identified as Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş. Soylu said Altıntaş was born on June 24, 1994, in the Söke district of the western province of Aydın. The minister also added that Altıntaş had been on duty for two-and-a half years at the riot police unit in Ankara and was a graduate of a police vocational school in İzmir.
Soylu said three more people were wounded in the attack, which he described as a “provocation,” adding that while one of them was discharged from hospital, the other two injured were being treated in hospital.
Soylu said Altıntaş was “neutralized” in a special operations police operation at the scene...
Hürriyet Ankara representative Deniz Zeyrek said the attacker first shot into the air before shooting the envoy in the back. He shot the envoy a second time after others at the gathering fled. It has also been reported that the attacker entered the scene by showing a police identity and wearing a suit.
The assailant reportedly took 11 shots, nine of them targeting the envoy. ‘Don’t forget Aleppo,’ shouts assailant. The attacker reportedly shouted “Don’t forget Aleppo! Don’t forget Syria! As long as our brothers are not safe, you will not enjoy safety,” according to footage released on Dutch website nos.nl.
“Whoever has a share in this oppression will pay for it one by one,” he added. “Only death will take me away from here,” he said. He also recited “God is great” before speaking in Turkish.
DO THE MATH HERE: (1) Soyla said that besides the dead ambassador three more people were wounded in the attack. None of these was the assassin who also died. He only fired 11 shots with the first one in the air as a warning. The next 9 went into the ambassador. That leaves him with one shot left. We know that he was himself shot to death. It is unlikely that he could shoot three other people with one gunshot, but we are told that one of the injured is already out of the hospital. Based on the number of shots fired it would seem possible that the person or persons who shot Altinas were also responsible for shooting the three injured people sent to the hospital. If this was so, then the assassination is likely to be not an act of terror but rather an act of defense by a member of the community affected by Assad and Russian actions in Syria. Certainly President Obama refused to back up his words about reinforcing a red line if Assad used poison gas against his people. In fact, just like in the Jewish Holocaust, the world sat back and did nothing to help the Syrians people while the Russians (and Iranians) did everything they could to help Assad slaughter his own nation.
Figure 2 - Altinas before and after he was shot. It is not clear that with 1 bullet he fired into the air, 9 into the Ambassador, and only one shot after, that he shot anyone other than the ambassador. He might even have used the last bullet to shoot himself. There are at least 13 bullet holes in the wall behind him.
ALEPPO, SYRIA IS DESTROYED BY ASSAD & RUSSIAN HANDS. EVENTUALLY THE SYRIANS MAY UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO LIVE IN PEACE.
Figure 3 deals with Syria's ultimate fate as predicted in the Tanach (known to Christians as the Old Testament). I’m no fan of Syria. Unless they can prove that they are Christians or Jews, I think the U.S. can’t risk taking any Syrians refugees. Frankly, the destruction of Syria’s capability to seriously challenge Israel brings warmth to my heart, as does the idea that nobody can really expect Israel to give back the Golan Heights that it won from Syria in 1967. After Jerusalem, the Golan is my favorite part of Israel. And yet, my heart aches when I see the suffering of Aleppo, Syria. Why can’t other Arab nations help these people? The Code and open text of Torah seems to suggest the answer. On the matrix below the axis term is ALELLO, SYRIA. At the same skip is ASSAD with ARMY at the same absolute skip, though opposite direction. RUSSIAN at an ELS touches DESTRUCTION, and ISRAEL in the open text touches both of them. There is also an ELS of TERROR on the matrix. Syria has long been a haven for terrorists and mass murderers like Assad. In the open text touching ALELLO, SYRIA is For the wickeness of these nations does the Lord your God drive them out from before you.
Figure 3 below - Aleppo, Syria and the Torah Code's answer of why it is suffering so much.
The eventual borders of Israel are set forth in Deuteronomy 1:6-8:
The LORD our God said to us at Horeb, "You have stayed long enough at this mountain.
Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates.
See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the LORD swore he would give to your fathers--to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob--and to their descendants after them."
Why not let the Ishmaelites just keep the land? Israel has no desire to conquer it. Most Israeli youth would rather go to college than spend at least 3 years on active duty with a long reserve obligation later. In the end, the problem with Muslim Syrians and Iraqis is not so much that they want to kill others as it is that they want to kill each other. Most terrorist attacks seem to be at mosques. As each Islamic faction kills others, the surviving victims in their grief are unanimous in shouting Allahu Akbar (God is Great). He is indeed great, but He doesn't seem to stop the killing. The (Jewish) Talmud (Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5; Yerushalmi Talmud 4:9, Babylonian Talmud Sanhedrin 37a.) says Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world. This was (incorrectly) copied by Mohammed who declared in the Qur'an, 5:32 "Whoever kills a person (unjustly) ... it is as though he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves a life, it is as though he had saved all mankind." The problem is that each Muslim sect argues that the other Muslims are heretics ... and therefore killing them is just. Eventually, if they continue this madness there must come a point where they will say enough. Then it won't be the job of Israel to conquer them. Rather, it will be incumbent on Israel to accept the presently unthinkable - the conversion of Muslims to Judaism. Israel wouldn't even consider such a thing (on a massive bais) today - so when will it happen? Well, this is where we must look at how (Orthodox) Judaism defines the Messiah. His key attribute will be that he will be the Prince of Peace who will end war on Earth permanently. When that man arrives we will see the Biblical borders of Israel fulfilled.
COVERAGE OF THE ASSASSINATION OF KARLOV IN THE NEW YORK DAILY NEWS. Apparently there is doubt about the criminal status of Karlov's assassination outside the Arab word too. Here are some a aspects of coverage in the New ork Daily News:
ASSASSINATION OF RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR ANDREI KARLOV WAS NOT TERRORISM, BUT RETRIBUTION FOR VLADAMIR PUTIN'S WAR CRIMES.
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Tuesday, December 20, 2016, 10:43 AM
The image of an assassin standing over the dying body of Russian ambassador Andrei Karlov is a shocking one — but not a surprising one.
As Vladimir Putin’s man in Turkey, Karlov was the public face of that murderous dictator’s war crimes around the globe and of oppression at home. Andrei Karlov is the human embodiment of policies that deployed bunker busters to kill babies, sent fighter planes on scorched earth bombing runs that destroyed a whole city, aided Syrian madman Bashar al-Assad in his campaign that has killed hundreds of thousands, and even ordered attacks on UN aid workers.
So I, for one, am shedding no tears for Andrei Karlov. Frankly, I’m surprised his murder didn’t come months ago. After all, this was the lede sentences of a Washington Post story from Oct. 9: "There seems to be no way for the international community to stop the ongoing war crimes being committed by the Syrian regime and its Russian allies, especially in Aleppo," the newspaper reported. "But by brazenly flouting international law, leaders and rank-and-file officials in both countries are opening themselves up to future justice in multiple ways."
Justice has been served...
Karlov's job in Turkey was to ease tensions over Russia's atrocities in Syria and its incursions inside Turkey itself — meaning his job was to enable and normalize Vladimir Putin. Given that role, he wasn’t a diplomat, but a soldier, and his death is the same whether it came on a battlefield outside Aleppo or in an art gallery in Ankara. His killer was also a soldier — not a terrorist, mind you, but a soldier. Terrorists kill innocent people with trucks in Christmas markets or with planes in skyscrapers. Soldiers kill their fellow soldiers.
Will history vindicate Mevlut Mert Altintas, Karlov’s assassin? That's for history to judge. But it has vindicated Grynszpan (a Jewish student who in 1938 killed Ernst vom Rath, a Nazi diplomat in France) — and, indeed, vindicated others who have fought against aggression and fought for freedom.
The assassination of Vom Rath was used by Hitler as an excuse to carry out the Holocaust. However, we may sure that even without it Hitler would acted in the same way.
