Possible Alien Hybrids in Torah

        I’m 67 years old. Before I retired my career was a combination of military service and teaching earth-space science, chemistry, biology, marine-biology and physical science in Florida public schools. If, at any point during my career, I had been asked about the possibility that humanoids had come from Mars, my response would have been absolutely not. This is not to imply that I did not believe that aliens could have visited the Earth. As is clear throughout this site, I have long suspected or believed that we have been visited, but by beings from another star system. Mars, despite the claims made in reference to the face-like plateau at Cydonia, has long been dead. Yet questions remained from the Bible. Who did the children of Adam and Eve marry? The Bible makes no reference to any daughters then, and when it does refer to the daughters of man in Genesis 6:2, we read about the sons of God (whoever they were) seeing the beautiful daughters of man, and then marrying them. I was content to let the matter rest there until 2011 when I read the bizarre article about Dr. John Brandenburg (Ph. D. in plasma physics) claiming that in the distant past there had been a nuclear explosion on Mars. Summaries of his findings and books are on my site at Nuke on Mars. But for starters here, let it be said that at the 3^rd lowest ELS of MAN FROM MARS, we find that the axis term is centered on AND THE SONS OF GOD SAW THE DAUGHTERS OF MAN THAT THEY WERE FAIR AND THEY TOOK THEM FOR WIVES (Genesis 6:2).

        I have read Brandenburg’s first two books about Mars and spent many hours interviewing him. When my son was majoring space physics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University the doctor and I had discussions about my son doing a summer internship with him at Orbitec in Madison, Wisconsin. But he wasn't able to deliver on the deal. He was trying to raise money for research into cold fusion and he thought that a friend of mine could help him obtain the money needed. It became apparent that any job for my son was contingent on funds raised for cold fusion research. Brandenburg needed help with the write-up to obtain the money. My son and I were both willing to offer it, but Brandenburg needed the money from my friend first. When that didn't happen we broke off our relationship.

       John Brandenburg isn't a nut job, and his resume’ is both relevant and impressive enough, but I think he would be taken more seriously if he focused on the evidence for nuclear explosions rather than on potential archeological sites on Mars that haved suffered greatly from nuclear erosions. However, he is currently often seen on the TV show ANCIENT ALIENS. Recently that show contacted me about doing a show. I told them that I was interested, but wanted to be sure that my words weren't taken out of context as they were when the History Channel filmed me for Bible Code II. It's possible that Brandenburg and I will appear together on a future show. But such a show should first show the evidence that my son and I have found for much higher than advertised air pressure on Mars, then move on to why the Government output is wrong, examining design flaws in the Tavis and Vaisala pressure transducers sent to Mars, and on the possibility of deliberate disinformation. At that point Brandenburg's findings relevant to possible nuclear war on Mars become of interest, as they provide a reason for our Government to deny funding for crewed missions to Mars. After Brandenburg makes his case for very ancient nuclear weapons, only then should the possible ruins at Cydonia and elsewhere on Mars be made. But that case should be presented by a competent archeologist and or photo analyst.

Figure 2 isn't as impressive as Figure 1 one even though the axis term, MEN FROM MARS, (rather than MAN FROM MARS) is 9 letters long. The a posterior phrase, THE LORD YOUR GOD MADE YOU LIKE THE STARS THE HEAVENS (Deuteronomy 10:22), requires a row split function to see, and it's not as to the point about possible alien intervention in our history as AND THE SONS OF GOD SAW THE DAUGHTERS OF MAN THAT THEY WERE FAIR AND THEY TOOK THEM FOR WIVES (Genesis 6:2). However, Deuteronomy 10:22 linked with MEN FROM MARS might imply that people on Earth were made in a made in a manner similar to what is found elsewhere in space.

HOW DO MARTIANS AND ALIENS FIT IN WITH JEWISH THEOLOGY?

In an article entitled Eighteen thousand planets by Baruch Crowley at The Jewish Magazine, it is argued that “in the Book Judges (5:20), within the lines of the song sung by the Hebrew Judge, Deborah and Baraq son of Avino'am - on the day Yael drove a tent peg through the head of the wicked King Sisera - there are a couple of highly intriguing verses with other worldly connotations. The first of these strange quotations reads "They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera", and the second (5:23) is, "Curse Meroz, said the angel of the Lord, curse bitterly its inhabitants; because they did not come to the help of the Lord against the mighty men." Sisera attacked Jerusalem and stole treasure from the First Temple.

       Crowley asks “What does this Meroz reference really allude to? In his book Sefer HaBrit (Book of the Covenant), Rabbi Pinchas Eliyahu Horowitz, (18th century) quotes as his authority a clear Talmud reference when he contends that Meroz is an inhabited planet somewhere in outer space.” But where in space? The name MEROZ is phonetically close to MARS, especially since an end letter of S is easy to confuse with an end letter of Z. In fact, when I first looked up the Hebrew spelling of Mars, it was because I wasn’t sure if the end letter would be a samech (more likely than a shin/sin) or a zayin.

      Crowley informs us that Rabbi Horowitz “states emphatically that G-d created an infinite number of worlds, of physical, spiritual and inter-dimensional nature. This view is upheld by the Ari'zal (Rabbi Yitzchak Luria), who also spoke of an infinite number of spiritual worlds. All of this might even be taken to indicate that the preceding battle described in Judges may even have extended beyond the boundaries of our planet’s surface, unless, of course, the first reference is merely astrological. Rabbi Horowitz refers specifically to 18,000 physical planets -- which is also recorded in the Talmud.” 

       The real problem with relating folks from Meroz/Mars with the attack on Jerusalem by Sisera is that conventional wisdom has it that while Mars was once a planet with a large ocean and a significant atmosphere, it lost both long before man came on the scene on planet Earth. This, of course, overlooks the issue of ages as put forward by religion vs. geology. On the Jewish calendar it is, I as write this, the year 5771 (since Creation of the Earth).  On the geologic clocks it's been 4.6 billion years since the Earth was formed.  Dr. John Brandenburg (see article below) argues in his latest book, LIFE AND DEATH ON MARS, that the oceans on Mars lasted for 4 billion years until a large asteroid hit the Lyot crater about 600,000,000 years ago.  He thinks a nuclear explosion (natural or unnatural) finished off the planet 180,000,000 years ago except for some microbes still pumping out methane. The dinosaurs were not yet wiped out by a comet or asteroid impact on Earth until 65,000,000 years ago. The first homosapiens are believed to appeared only about 200,000 years ago.

       There are two sources that Dr. Brandenburg turns to for dating events on Mars.  He thinks the most important of these relates to radioisotopes. The secondary source is the rate of cratering on Mars, something that is hard to get right on Mars.  One indication of how that might be higher than understood before can be seen by the photos of new craters on Mars, especially one that is 4 miles wide. However, while the cratering rate remains subject to debate, if the isotopic method is correct, and Cydonia is at least 180,000,000 years old (as Dr. Brandenburg told me today - April 28, 2011), then any intervention from Mars would have to come from a period much more recent than the formation of Cydonia. There are areas where people might have survived underground on Mars (the caves of Arsia Mons come to mind).

       As for the reality of the face at Cydonia, it is one of the hottest political issues in Mars science today. Part of the problem is that images of the site never look quite the same as is evident from the photos below taken from Mars - Cydonia Information.

Was There a Natural Nuclear Blast on Mars?

         Ever wonder why the red planet is red? About 180 million years ago, a planet-shattering yet naturally occurring nuclear reaction may have wiped out everything on Mars, sending a shockwave that turned the planet into dry sand.

         Even more incredible: A natural nuclear reaction could have occurred on our own planet -- and could happen again, said Dr. John Brandenburg, a senior propulsion scientist at Orbital Technologies Corp. "The Martian surface is covered with a thin layer of radioactive substances including uranium, thorium and radioactive potassium -- and this pattern radiates from a hot spot [on Mars],” Brandenburg told FoxNews.com.

       “A nuclear explosion could have sent debris all around the planet," he said. "Maps of gamma rays on Mars show a big red spot that seems like a radiating debris pattern ... on the opposite side of the planet there is another red spot."

A NASA spacecraft has been beaming to Earth incredibly detailed pictures of the surface of Mars. And the beautiful colors and rich textures of the red planet will shock you.

       According to Brandenburg, the natural explosion, the equivalent of 1 million one-megaton hydrogen bombs, occurred in the northern Mare Acidalium region of Mars where there is a heavy concentration of radioactivity. This explosion filled the Martian atmosphere with radio-isotopes as well, which are seen in recent gamma ray spectrometry data taken by NASA, he said. 

       The radioactivity also explains why the planet looks red. Brandenburg said gamma ray spectrometry taken over the past few years shows spiking radiation from Xenon 129 -- an increase also seen on Earth after a nuclear reaction or a nuclear meltdown, including the one at Chernobyl in 1986 and the disaster in Japan earlier this month.

       Dr. David Beaty, Mars program science manager at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, told FoxNews.com that he finds the idea intriguing and fascinating. But to prove the science, the agency would need to plan a mission to explore Mare Acidalium on Mars. And there are more pressing issues, including missions to find extraterrestrial life. “You have to assess the importance of the question relative to the cost of answering the question,” he said.

       Still, Beaty expressed doubts, saying the geological conditions on this planet and Mars have existed for millennia -- what exists has existed for a long time, and there are few sudden changes. “Rocks are what they are. [A natural nuclear reaction] could happen in another billion years, but it is not something to make you want to go home to your family and move to the mountains right away,” he said.

       Dr. Lars Borg, a scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Lab, called Brandenburg’s conclusions unsurprising -- and part of known geological processes, not a nuclear reaction. "We've looked at Martian meteorites for 15 years, and looked in detail at the isotopic measurements .. and not a single person out of hundreds worrying about this have thought there could have been a nuclear explosion on Mars," he told FoxNews.com.

       Brandenburg -- who once worked at Livermore himself -- defended his research, arguing that defense experts he talked to off the record said they agreed there are signs of a nuclear reaction. Besides, there's a precedence for a natural nuclear reaction on our own planet, he noted. 

       The Oklo, Gabon, region of Africa has uranium-coated sediments from a nuclear reaction that occurred 2 billion years ago. A massive nuclear explosion on Mars would have created huge craters on the surface, visible from orbiting telescopes like Hubble and from the Mars rovers. Brandenburg said such craters could have filled in with sand over the past 180 million years, leaving no visual cues to prove the theory.

       Another possibility is that the reaction occurred in mid-air and did not leave a crater -- which is exactly what happened at the Tunguska event in Russia in 1909, presumably by a large comet.

       Harrison Schmitt, a geological expert and the last man to step out of the Apollo spacecraft on the moon, told FoxNews.com that there is “general validity” to Brandenburg’s theory. He said the nuclear reaction may not have been caused by an explosion, however, and might have occurred over time.

       Edward D. McCullough, a science and space consultant, agreed that the Mare Acidalium region of Mars does show some strange colors and terrain formations that seem unexplainable. “There seems to be a reasonable closure between the number of fissions required to produce the Xenon 129 enhancement and the amount of energy required to toss material to that point on Mars,” he said.

       “This massive nuclear explosion on Mars seems to defy natural explanation,” said Brandenburg.
