BERGOGLIO CHOSEN AS POPE.

This page shows the Vatican's choice and a few matrices for other top candidates for the papacy. As Bergoglio is 76 years old, one of the other men on this page may later be elected pope. Supposedly Bergoglio reached out to the Jewish community of his home town Buenos Aires after the bombing of the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association on July 18, 1994. The attack killed 85 people and injured hundreds. As Archbishop of Buenos Aires, he visited two synagogues and led Kristallnacht commemorations last November at the Buenos Aires Cathedral. However, what touches BERGOGLIO in the Code is YOUR ENEMIES ROUND ABOUT. Also on Figure 1 is VATICAN AND JESUIT. HaAretz reports that he sent a message to Rome's chief rabbi, Riccardo Di Segni, inviting him to his inaugural Mass at the Vatican on March 19. While this may seem polite, it might indicate a problem. All Catholics accept the Tenach (which they call the Old Testament). But Jews don't accept the New Testament. There is no Trinity in Judaism; there are no idols or statues, no deification of a man. A rabbi cannot in any way participate in a mass or be present without committing heresy. The invitation may indicate a possible combination of insensitivity, intimidation, or an overt appeal to Jews to convert to Catholicism. Thus last fall Rabbi Di Segni decided to not participate in a debate on the progress of the Jewish-Catholic dialogue, regarding the presence of formerly-Jewish cardinal Lustiger as “inappropriate”. 

STATISTICAL VS. REAL WORLD SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MATRIX. As per my standard protocol, no positive statistical significance is assigned to the axis term, here the only ELS of BERGOGLIO. Odds against this matrix are a bit tricky because it is not yet clear whether this pope will be another enemy of the Jewish people. If we just look at the a-priori words VATICAN and JESUIT, they are both on the matrix against odds of about 72 to 1. You can get an ideal of how easy it is to find VATICAN on a matrix by looking at Figures 2 through 6. The word appears on every matrix except for Figure 3 (Timothy Dolan of New York). All cardinals are, of course, appointed by the Vatican. The question here is, what do we make out of the fact that YOUR ENEMIES ROUND ABOUT touches this pope's name? The full phrase is only an a-posteriori phrase, so we cannot use its frequency (only once in Torah) for a calculation. But, given the history of the Crusades, the Inquisition, the silence of Pope XII during the Holocaust, and the aid given by the Vatican to Nazi war criminals like Adolf Eichmann who escaped to Argentina where he was eventually captured by Israeli agents, the Catholic Church is the traditional deadly enemy of the Jews. As such, ENEMY is a legitimate a-priori term to seek. Using it for odds calculation purposes takes the statistical value of Figure 1 from 1 chance in 72 to 1 chance in 1,361. In other words, we really need this term to make the matrix statistically significant; HOWEVER, this does not mean that we necessarily have the correct interpretation of the matrix, assuming that it is deliberately encoded.  That's because the full verse of the enemies term reads as follows:

Therefore it shall be, when the LORD your God has given you rest from all your enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God given you for an inheritance to possess it, that you shall blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; you shall not forget.

       So the question is, do we focus on your enemies round about which touches BERGOGLIO, or do broaden our look to include rest from our enemies? Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles writes of friendship between Pope Benedict XVI and the Jews. The rabbi is a diplomat. I am a realist. Pope Benedict XVI was not some saint who fought the Nazis during the Holocaust. Rather, he wore their uniform. Before Benedict XVI, Pope Jonn Paul II seemed like a nice guy. There are rumors all over the Internet that he sold chemicals to or worked for I.G. Farben who made the poison gas to kill millions of Jews, but I have never seen any evidence to back such claims. Still, he came from Poland, which seemed only too glad to see its Jews exterminated, and to benefit from seizing Jewish property. Argentina as the choice for a pope may be natural in terms of where so many millions of Catholics live today, but it was a prime destination fo Nazi war criminals via the Ratline of the Vatican.
