Bir El Abed Mosque Massacre, ISIS, and the Ark of the Covenant

       On Friday, November 24, 2017 a terrorist group massacred at least 305 worshippers at the Bir El Abed (also spelled Bir El Abd) al Rawdah mosque in the northern Sinai Peninsula. The mosque is known for being the birthplace of Sufi cleric Sheik Eid al-Jariri who is considered the founder of Sufism in the Sinai peninsula.  About a fourth of the town’s men were murdered. The mosque is on the road that connects the Israeli and Gaza border with the Suez Canal. I've been through the town on at least 5 occasions. On my last trip there I had fish for lunch and hired a truck with low-inflated tires to drive around military checkpoints for a quick look at the spot where I believe the Ark of the Covenant will be found. On Figure 1 the axis term is BIR EL ABED. At the same absolute skip are DAESH (ISIS), MOSQUE and ARK. At skip +1 are THE MURDERER, PERSIA (IRAN), and MEN OF WAR. At skip -1 is MURDER and at skip +2 is ESTABLISHMENT.

STATISTICAL AND POLITICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF FIGURE 1. As per my usual protocol, no statistical significance was assigned to the axis term, here the second lowest ELS of BIR EL ABD in wrapped Torah. This analysis looks at a partial matrix with a white background that has an area of 348 letters and the full matrix (white and gray backgrounds) with an area of 608 letters. As the spreadsheet above indicates, the smaller matrix is the more significant one, so let's start there. It has two a priori terms at the same absolute skip as BIR EL ABD. They are DAESH and MOSQUE. The savage attackers left behind a DAESH/ISIS flag so it's likely that they were the killers. Odds of against having DAESH  at a special case skip (+/- 1 or the absolute skip of the axis term) in 348 letters with the axis term were about 175 to 1 (the odds were about 100 to 1 on the full matrix). However, the match is really more significant here because it only takes 3 columns and 9 rows (an area of 27 letters) to show BIR EL ABD and DAESH. Without considering the issue of conflicting letters, the odds against this match are at least 1,129 to 1.

      In the 348-letter matrix MOSQUE was found at a special case skip against odds of about 876 to 1. On the full 608-letter matrix this statistic dropped to about 260 to 1. Four a priori terms remain on the 348-letter matrix. They are MURDER, WAR, PERSIA and ESTABLISHMENT. All were found at special case skips except for ESTABLISHMENT which was at skip +2. While ESTABLISHMENT was found a priori, I really had decided not to include it in the combined odds unless it would be found a special case skip. Given the way DAESH was found on the matrix and the flag they left behind, I think the decision to not include it is wise. Why did I look for it? There are two establishments that I have worked with on the Codes. I noticed that NASA Ames was reading this article as I worked on it on November 26, 2017. They, DoD in conjunction with M.I.T (reading this article on November 27, 2017), and the U.S. Government constitutes one Establishment, and the primary one even if they don't talk to me. They are here every day. They know where I think the Ark is, and because they don't talk to me (about the Codes or my Mars research that they also check every day) I am left to guess their real intentions.

       The second Establishment is the Egyptian Government. They (via Amim Mohsen and Yasser Abed) have met with me on May 13, 1999 - at the Egyptian Embassy in Tel Aviv. On May 30, 1999 I also met for four hours with Mahmoud Ayyad Alatrash, Gammal Mohammed (a geologist) and Khalid Hassan at the Northern Sinai Government Headquarters in El Arish. I was only two years into Codes research at that time, but I told them about where I thought the Ark of the Covenant and the Fortress of Baal Zephon were likely located so they could see if there was useful information in the Codes that would shed light on Michael Drosnin's claim that Libya and Syria were planning a nuclear attack against West Jerusalem. After the meeting was over I went back to Tel Aviv where I was debriefed by a major serving as Assistant Naval Attache' at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv.

        In 2005, a year after my Ark Code book was published, I also benefited from a former U.S. Special Forces man who prevailed upon an Egyptian general to help me obtain a driver who would take me from the Rafah border to the El Zuqba area where I believe the Ark rests. There was also an official in El Arish who helped me then too. There been several major changes in the nature of the Egyptian Government since I met with them, and I doubt they are doing anything with my findings now unless the Egyptian Government found the Ark where I think it is. If the woman on Figure 3 is looking at anything other than water in the new well she is over, then it's possible that many people in Bir El Abd and the surrounding area of El Zuqba know about excavations or findings there. This could lead to consequences that fundamental Muslims would be so uncomfortable with that they want the local population annihilated or so terrified that they could ensure silence through fear. What would terrify some Muslims about the Ark being found via the Torah Code? Well, Muslims believe that Jews corrupted the Torah and that Allah gave Mohammed the Quran to replace it.

        Muslims believe the Torah was corrupted because it refers to Isaac as the only son of Abraham when clearly Ishmael was born 13 years earlier. There was a time when Ishmael was Abraham's only son, but never a time when Isaac was that. Isaac has 4 letters in Hebrew, but Ishmael has six. The Code is based on an Equidistant Letter Sequence.  Many ELS maps involve more than one computer pass through the 304,805 letters of Torah.  If Jews changed Isaac for Ishmael, it would destroy such ELS maps. But if the Ark is found through ELS maps, then it follows the Torah is likely the original and that the Quran is not a legitimate replacement. From there what follows is the possible death of Islam and the collapse of political entities that are based on it. There were about 30 men who attacked Bir El Abd. They could have been sent by a Government with a lot to lose via an Ark find nearby. That's why I looked for ESTABLISHMENT (which was on the 348-letter matrix against odds of about 18 to 1). By the way, the people of Bir El Abd believe that Moses split the Sea of Reeds north of their town - at Lake Bardawil. They told me about a Musa (Moses) fish (see Figure 4) with one eye looking up.  The legend is that when Moses split the sea the view above of it splitting was so awesome that the fish could only look up after seeing it.

      PERSIA is at skip +1, but for its frequency I also included IRAN at skip +1. Although an ISIS flag was left behind, Suifi Muslims are a persecuted minority in Iran. Obviously Iranian clerics woud have a lot to lose if the Ark turned up where the Torah Code seems to indicate it should be, so they might organize the slaughter seen, leaving an ISIS flag behind to distract attention from Iran. PERSIA/IRAN was found at skip +1 in the 348-letter matrix against odds of about 35 to 1. MURDER was on the smaller matrix at a special case skip (-1) against odds of about 20.87 to 1, but I would be more comfortable talking about it if it were in the open text. The word is in the open text on the larger matrix against odds there of about 16.75 to 1, although the term is really used in conjunction with manslaughter. Finally, WAR (MEN OF WAR) is in the open text on the smaller matrix against odds of about 24.8 to 1. Overall the 348-letter matrix was found against odds of about 1,418,028,325 to 1. For the 608-letter matrix this figure goes down to 279,694,455 to 1. As such the expansion was not statistically justified.

WHO ARE THE SUFIS? Frankly, as a Jew who has travelled a good bit in the Sinai and the rest of Egypt, I have only had good experiences with Sufis. Those who helped me came across as friends of Judaism - even as brothers, and I have often worried about their safety. However somehow they reminded me of a Jewish false Messiah who converted to Islam - Sabbatai Zevi, who was influenced by the Sufis (see Sabbatai Zevi and Sufism). In searching on-line at Mysteries of Israel I found the following:

SUFIS IN ISRAEL

The Sufis are the mystic sects in Islam, and their goal is to reach union with God, which they do through dance, music, storytelling, art, aesthetics and different meditations and spiritual techniques. The Sufis emphasize love as a way to God and the importance of the teacher. Throughout the centuries, Israel was a place of Sufi mystics. Sufism started in the city of Ramla in Israel at the end of the 8^th century. Israel is called in the Koran "The Blessed Land" and indeed it is so.

Throughout history, cooperation and co-relations between Sufis and Jews were common. In Egypt, for example, in the middle centuries, a group of Jews, calling themselves Hasidim, wanted to renew Judaism in the spirit of Sufism. They claimed that the Sufis learned their practice of dance and song from the Jewish prophets, and now the Jews needed to learn the ways of love, ecstasy, seclusion and devotion back from the Sufis. The movement was started by Rabbi Abraham ben Meimon, the son of the most important Jewish figure of the Middle Ages – Rabbi Moshe ben Meimon.

 Sayings of Rabbi Abraham ben Meimon include:

 “Don’t think it improper to compare the behavior of the prophets with the behavior of the Sufis, for the Sufis have imitated the prophets and did as they did and not the opposite.”

       The Sufis who are so close to Israel unfortunately set themselves up as targets for those who practice more evils interpretations of Islam. Here I speak of both Daesh/ISIS and Iran who often battles Daesh/ISIS.  Let's look at a little history of Iran with the Sufis. Wikipedia says

The Iranian Islamic Republic has harassed Shia Sufis, reportedly for their lack of support for the government doctrine of "governance of the jurist" (i.e., that the supreme Shiite jurist should be the nation's political leader).

In most other Muslim countries, attacks on Sufis and especially their shrines have come from adherents of puritanical schools of thought who believe that practices such as celebration of the birthdays of Sufi saints, and dhikr ("remembrance" of God) ceremonies are bid‘ah or impure innovation, and polytheistic (Shirk)

       Wikipedia documents persecution in Iran (especially since 2005) that has involved beatings (with 74 lashes), arrests, destruction of books and computer data, internal exile, clashes with dozens of injuries, bulldozing a Sufi monastery and denouncing Sufism and the activities of Sufi Muslims in the country in both sermons and public statements. As bad as all this is, it doesn't quite rise to the level of massacring at least 305 people praying in a mosque on their holy day. Since we have not (yet, at least) seen this level of hatred expressed in Iran, it's difficult to conclude that Iran was behind the attack in Bir El Abd (unless they believe the Ark is located nearby - and there is no evidence that Iran has such a belief). So, based on the evidence that we have onhand and the matrix, who was responsible for the attack against the mosque? Odds against DAESH being at a special case skip were at least 175 to 1.  Odds against PERSIA or IRAN being there were about 35 to 1. So DAESH is at least 5 times more significant than PERSIA and the crime scene include a DAESH/ISIS flag that was left behind. Therefore we can probably believe the indications that this was another sick act by DAESH/ISIS.  While there are many murderous Muslims in Egypt, Egypt is blessed with President el-Sisi at the helm. Egypt is living up to their peace treaty with Israel even though former President Anwar Sadat paid for it with his life.
