49ER QUARTERBACK KAEPERNICK, OBAMA AND A CREEPY PROTEST
As is always the case, Obama's hatred of the U.S. and police shines forth. Posted on 9/8/2016
Before a game on August 26, 2016, San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick sat down during the playing of the U.S. national anthem. During a post-game interview he said, "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder." He said that he would continue to protest until he feels like "[the American flag] represents what it’s supposed to represent.” The next game saw him kneel on the ground. Obama backed him. On the matrix the axis term is KAEPERNICK. PROTEST is at the same skip and OBAMA is at the same absolute skip. In the open text is ALL THAT CREEPS ON THE GROUND. QUARTERBACK is on the same line, but it’s only 2 letters. At an ELS are the year (5)776/2016 and another word for PROTEST. This matrix was found against odds of about 1,378 to 1. Finally, the short version of the year for this situation, (5)776/2016, had about a 60% chance to be found at a non-special case ELS. After dividing combining significance of these terms by 16 to account for ELS rank 16 of the axis term, I find that the matrix exists against odds of about 1,378 to 1.
WHAT DID OBAMA SAY ABOUT THE KAEPERNICK PROTEST?
“In terms of Mr. Kaepernick, I’ve got to confess that I haven’t been thinking about football while I’ve been over here and I haven’t been following this closely, but my understanding, at least, is that he’s exercising his Constitutional right to make a statement. I think there’s a long history of sports figures doing so. I think there are a lot of ways you can do it. As a general matter, when it comes to the flag, and the national anthem, and the meaning it holds for our men and women in uniform and those who fought for us, that is a tough thing for them to get past, to then hear what his deeper concerns are. But I don’t doubt his sincerity, based on what I’ve heard. I think he cares about some real, legitimate issues that have to be talked about. And if nothing else, what he’s done is he’s generated more conversation around some topics that need to be talked about.”
WHAT WAS MISSING FROM OBAMA'S REMARK? That he disagrees with the one-sided view of the Black Lives Matter movement, and why. That he understands why police are often too nervous or shoot too fast in black neighborhoods, and that when police do shoot someone, often the shooter is a black member of the police department. For example, in Chicago on Labor Day Weekend this year there were 65 shootings and 13 dead. These were not police shootings. They were gang shootings. There are 488 murders there so far this year (2016) up through September 8th. American inner cities have been war zones for decades. Now that police are held to such high standards and are so liable to prosecution they are afraid to do their jobs and many black neighborhoods. As a result young blacks there seem to feel that they have a license for self-annihilation. This is likely to continue so long as nearly three quarters of black children born are born out of wedlock.
STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MATRIX. The axis term here, KAEPERNICK is at its 16th lowest skip in wrapped Torah (which, I must admit, is higher than I like to see). The most significant a priori key word was OBAMA which was found against odds of about 165 to 1 before factoring in the high ELS rank of the axis term. There were two words sought for PROTEST. The one at the same skip as KAEPERNICK was the harder of the two to find, but I use the combined frequency of it and the other PROTEST to find the statistical significance of the term at a special case skip (+/-1 and the absolute skip of the axis term). As such it was found against odds of about 7.5 to 1. I looked for GROUND because Kaepernick went down on his knee on the ground in the second game of the season rather than stand. This term was found in the open text against odds of about 8.7 to 1. The words CREEPS, while a verb, was suggestive of a noun that could be used to described two people who show no respect for our flag (i.e., KAEPERNICK and OBAMA), but it wasn't found in an a priori manner, and therefore it's not part of the calculation. The word QUARTERBACK is too short to be at an ELS - at least 3 letters are required. But it's fair to ask what the chance was for these two letters to be in sequence only at skip +1. As such, it had about an 82% chance to be there. After factoring in ELS rank 16 of the axis term the matrix was found against odds of about 1,378 to 1.
