BIN LADEN, ROBERT O'NEILL, AND PARALLEL UNIVERSES

        In this article we examine the need for and scope of parallel universes with respect to interpretation of Torah Code matrices. In particular we will link principles from Quantum Mechanics to the Biblical need for free will. As we do so it will become apparent that the trick is often not so much figuring out what our future is as it is determining which universe that we live it. Figure 1 above offers us two choices that we had with respect to how to kill Bin Laden. The highly unusual long train ELS first found was DESTRUCTION I WILL CALL YOU, CURSED IS BIN LADEN AND REVENGE IS FOR THE MESSIAH. That's 29 letters. Normally I never find a priori ELS trains longer than 12 letters, and frankly 8 is the most common limit. Anything longer than 12 letters is snooped (a posteriori, that is, not found a priori but noticed after the main term was found). The 29-letter Bin Ladin matrix has several snooped terms on it. The maIn problem with the snoop is not so much that the Hebrew for I WILL CALL YOU is not great. Rather, as should be obvious, revenge for 911 was not carried out by the Messiah (unless he proves to be Robert O'Neill, which I doubt - O'Neill is a Catholic while traditionally the Messiah will be a Jew descended from the House of David and the Tribe of Judah). O'NEILL is on the matrix. He is tied to REVENGE IS FROM. That's not on the ELS train. It's one skip off it. So it appears that the matrix has two fates - one with the Messiah killing Bin Laden and another with O'Neill getting the job done.

There are many ways that our nation could have turned out. See Figure 2.

There are also many ways that our nation could go in the future, especially if the red (Conservative) states once again withdraw from the blue (liberal) states.

Schrödinger's cat is a famous illustration of the principle in quantum theory of superposition, proposed by Erwin Schrödinger in 1935. Schrödinger's cat serves to demonstrate the apparent conflict between what quantum theory tells us is true about the nature and behavior of matter on the microscopic level and what we observe to be true about the nature and behavior of matter on the macroscopic level -- everything visible to the unaided human eye.

Here's Schrödinger's thought experiment: We place a living cat into a steel chamber, along with a device containing a vial of hydrocyanic acid. There is, in the chamber, a very small amount of hydrocyanic acid, a radioactive substance. If even a single atom of the substance decays during the test period, a relay mechanism will trip a hammer, which will, in turn, break the vial and kill the cat. 

The observer cannot know whether or not an atom of the substance has decayed, and consequently, cannot know whether the vial has been broken, the hydrocyanic acid released, and the cat killed. Since we cannot know, according to quantum law, the cat is both dead and alive, in what is called a superposition of states. It is only when we break open the box and learn the condition of the cat that the superposition is lost, and the cat becomes one or the other (dead or alive). This situation is sometimes called quantum indeterminacy or the observer's paradox: the observation or measurement itself affects an outcome, so that the outcome as such does not exist unless the measurement is made. (That is, there is no single outcome unless it is observed.)

We know that superposition actually occurs at the subatomic level, because there are observable effects of interference, in which a single particle is demonstrated to be in multiple locations simultaneously. What that fact implies about the nature of reality on the observable level (cats, for example, as opposed to electrons) is one of the stickiest areas of quantum physics. Schrödinger himself is rumored to have said, later in life, that he wished he had never met that cat.

     Is there a set future? if there is then life has no real meaning. We'd be robots, CD's in God's Entertainment System - stories that always have the same exact ending. But, despite all the prophecies in the Bible, that's not the way God planned his Universes, or more to the point, His universes. God told Jonah that he should go preach to Nineveh. Jonah ran away and was swallowed by a large fish (or unidentified submerged object). After being spit up, Jonah preached that in 40 days Nineveh would be overturned (Jonah 3:4). The people there repented so much that in Jonah 3:10 we read that God cancelled the warning. If action can alter acts declared in the open text, how much more so for what is encoded! The Torah Code appears to be constructed in such fashion as to allow for multiple outcomes.  As with Deuteronomy 30:19 we are often told that our behavior has consequences:

I call heaven and earth today to bear witness against you: I have placed life and death before you, blessing and curse; and you shall choose life, so that you will live, you and your offspring.

If we had merited the Messiah, then perhaps he would have killed Bin Laden. But we live in a politically correct, religiously incorrect world with a President who pushes gay marriage, marijuana use, using the Internal Revenue Service to audit Republicans, murdering fetuses to harvest organ parts for profit, and an ever weakened military. So we were lucky to get O'Neill, but we didn't get a leader who could war of Earth permanently.

STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ORIGINAL 29-LETTER MATRIX (1 column 29 rows). I think the original dicsussion of odds by the Levitt Team is irrelevant because Bin Laden was killed by O'Neil rather than the Messiah. However, for the record, this what they claimed:

(1) There were 614,000 Bible-scrambled Control texts used to come up with odds.

(2) They found 13,400 Bin Laden phrases in the Control with at least 29 letters an average word length of at least 29/6.

(3) 204 phrases produced by chance were judged intelligible.

(4) The Bin Laden phrase from Torah was recognized as intelligible by only 7 out of 27 reviewers.

(5) A problem segment was "I will call you." It is Biblical, but not Modern Hebrew. But it is valid.

(6) The probability that there is a text with an ELS phrase involving Bin Laden at least as intelligible as the one found in the Torah text is less than 6 out of a million.

STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE MATRIX (WHITE BACKGROUND ONLY). As per my standard protocol, no statistical significance is assigned to the axis term, here judged to be CURSED IS BIN LADEN, REVENGE IS FROM at its only ELS in (unwrapped) in wrapped Torah. On the spreadsheet below, I calculate the chance for a 5-letter ELS of O'NEILL on the 120-letter area of the matrix that likely contained terms not snooped to be about 1 in 102. The mem meaning FROM in front of O'NEILL is part of the axis term. It is of interest that FROM O'NEILL flows from REVENGE. What are the odds against having FROM O'NEILL in a 120-letter box with CURSED IS BIN LADEN, REVENGE IS FROM? The answer is about 1,270 to 1.
