ON BRINGING THE MOSSIACH (MESSIAH) NOW

DOES CHABAD WANT MESSIAH NOW?     

PROVE IT!

I’m almost 62.  For most of my life I have heard Chabad’s claim that, “We Want Mossiach Now!”  What have they done towards this goal?  Encouraged Jews to light Sabbath and Hanukkah candles (good), put on tephilin (good), pray with feeling and fulfill more commandments (both good).  But they have forgotten the Second Commandment about images (not good). Rabbi Schneerson had some outreach efforts to non-Jews (good), but he failed to stop a single war (failure). The Messiah’s identity will be firmly established as the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:5-6) only when war ends – permanently.   Because one page on this web site referred to a matrix in the New Testament found by a non-Jew (Kevin Acres, the producer of CodeFinder Torah Codes software) that showed the same area for the Ark of the Covenant as is indicated in the Torah Code (near Lake Bardawil, Egypt), not many Chabad synagogues wanted to listen to me. How dare I report a finding that could indicate God might encode His plan in other religious texts in an effort to ensure that they would have reason to stop killing Jews, and actually support the rebuilding of a Temple?

Am I the Messiah?  Probably not.  Why?  Because I am, like Moses, of the Tribe of Levi; and the Messiah is expected to be of the Tribe of Judah.  Nevertheless, the maps found encoded in Torah have the real possibility of leading to the recovery of the Ark of the Covenant.  I may be missing a small piece of the puzzle (like depth), and the Messiah may be the one who finishes what I have started.  That’s OK, this is not about my ego.  I am often asked about why I put up my maps on-line.  Am I not afraid that someone else will find the Ark?  My answer is that I could care less who finds it, so long as it is found – and the find (including its site) is reported to the public. From that point on the ball is in God’s hands.

There is, nearly two years after this site went up, still no Pay Pal link to donate expedition funds. I don’t want any money sent to me, and there is no foundation established to receive funds yet for such an expedition.  But, if Chabad really wants the Messiah now, it could stop spending so much money on photos of the Rebbe, or expensive color mailing campaigns. It should start spending money to investigate the maps I’ve found, or to seriously investigate alternate ideas about the Ark’s location¹. It should also sponsor interfaith meetings – with Islam – that narrow the gap and reduce the hatred between our faiths. The point is that the Messiah will not likely come because a higher percentage of Jews just light Sabbath candles.  The Messiah will be known when the Ark is found, and Muslims want to help the Jews build a Third Temple.  Who will really be the Messiah?  Perhaps a wealthy man or great organizer (yes, probably from the Tribe of Judah) who can cut through Egyptian bureaucracy and get the required expedition permits, or find the Ark elsewhere, and take whatever other action is required to end war.  That end will not be limited to 42 months like the Christians believe will be the case with an Antichrist.  The man will not set up himself as a deity, but he will serve as the stimulus for God sending all the elements promised for Messianic Age.  May this man be with us today, and may he act now.
